Stuart A. Sklar is a managing shareholder at Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C., where he has litigated hundreds of fire and explosion cases and collected tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his clients by obtaining judgments and settlements against, property insurance companies, product manufacturers, natural gas utility companies, propane gas suppliers, electric utilities, landlords, property owners, and others.

Jason J. Liss is a managing shareholder of Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1993. Jason brings over 30 years of experience in helping people and corporations with property insurance matters. Jason specializes in assisting homeowners and business owners whose commercial and homeowners’ property insurance claims are being investigated or have been denied by their insurers.

Aaron Herskovic is a shareholder of Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C., having begun working with the firm in 2016 and officially joining the firm in 2018.  Aaron routinely represents individuals and businesses in disputes with their insurance companies, having assisted his clients in collecting tens of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds. He also represents victims of fires and explosions in their lawsuits against the responsible parties.  Upon joining the firm, Aaron and Stuart Sklar successfully led a team of attorneys through an extended lawsuit against an apartment complex for a tragic fire, resulting in a settlement of nearly $10,000,000.

Elizabeth A. King is an associate attorney at Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C.  Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth served as staff counsel for the Auto Club Group, defending the insurance company and its insureds in first- and third-party automobile insurance and homeowner’s liability cases. At the Auto Club Group, she handled over 1,000 insurance matters, including defending litigation, conducting examinations under oath, and reviewing insurance policies for coverage determinations. Elizabeth frequently presented to both Claims department personnel and staff counsel on coverage and litigation topics. She has successfully defended numerous claims to verdict for both her individual and insurance company clients.
