Biography
A founding shareholder of Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, Michael H. Fabian spent four decades winning complex property-insurance disputes for Michigan families and businesses. Today, he consults on high-stakes appellate matters and policy-coverage questions, drawing on a legacy that includes landmark wins before the Michigan Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

He also authored the Fire Insurance Chapter in ICLE’s Causes of Action Formbook, and has served on the National Fire Protection Association’s Technical Committee on Fire Investigations, which publishes NFPA 921: Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations, the authoritative text on fire investigations, and on the Insurance Law Committee of the State Bar of Michigan.
